These terms apply to services provided by Smart Home Roof Repair ("we", "our", "us") and to your use of this website. By engaging us or using this site you accept these terms.
1. Services
We provide roofing services including roof leak repair, roof waterproofing and PU grouting, gutter cleaning and repair, roof ceramic and thermal coating, roof replacement and re-roofing, roof truss repair and strengthening, and roof inspection — primarily across Puchong, Subang Jaya, Petaling Jaya, Seri Kembangan, Cheras and Shah Alam.
2. Quotes
Quotes are provided after a free site inspection. Verbal indications are not binding. Written quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote and are subject to:
- The scope identified at inspection
- Access to the work area at the agreed time
- Reasonable weather conditions
Significant changes in scope discovered during work will be discussed with you and agreed in writing before additional work proceeds.
3. Booking and Cancellation
Work is scheduled after acceptance of the written quote. Cancellations should be communicated as early as possible. Materials ordered or work commenced prior to cancellation may be chargeable.
4. Payment
Payment terms (deposit, progress payments, final balance) are stated in your quote. Accepted methods include cash and bank transfer. Outstanding balances are due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Workmanship Guarantee
Repairs are backed by a workmanship guarantee for the period stated in your quote. Re-roofing and structural work carry a structural warranty with terms specified in the quote. Guarantees cover defects in our workmanship. They do not cover:
- Damage from extreme weather beyond reasonable foreseeable conditions
- Damage caused by other parties working on the property after our work
- Issues arising from undisclosed pre-existing conditions
- Wear and tear or aging beyond normal expectations for the materials used
6. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
7. Property and Access
You are responsible for ensuring safe access to the work area and for notifying us of any hidden hazards (e.g., concealed wiring, fragile surfaces). We take reasonable care of your property; minor disturbances inherent to roofing work (debris, dust) are expected and cleaned up on completion.
